How lovely to listen to you two! I'm very excited for you, Korby. I remember seeing you in The Barbed Wire Cutters at the Majestic in B'Ham on News Years Eve 2002 (?). I didn't dance. I couldn't. I stood stood stock still and slack jawed watching you perform with WTF? emblazoned across my brow! I thought, "Holy Cats! I gotta MOVE here!" (there was some other stuff, the shocking beauty of The Canadian Coastal Range Mountains, Baker, the Salish, Stuart's, the Pickford, etc...) And I DID move here! I got here just as you left for Nashville! Ha Ha! Always loved your talent and your courage, Korby. Probably a blind spot to you but it is apparent in how your life has unfolded. You made all of it happen and you continue to do so. You're an inspiration. Long may you run! Thanks, Randa. Great interview!
Thanks Cile! Brought me back to those Bellingham years - Chuckanut Drive, Boundary Bay, Film is Truth and, probably the most influential institution of my twenties, Henderson Books.
